I gave this a 5 star rating for a few simple reasons. Cost, almost the cheapest ammo available and still good quality. Accuracy, was able to shoot sub MOA groups with this ammunition. Brass, for being a bargain brand the quality of the brass for reloading is fantastic (better than Remington or Winchester as long as you weigh them into lots). I have reloaded this brass 5 times and so far have not had any issues with brass fatigue, cracking, or brittleness. The only thing you need to keep your eye on is the primer pockets, they seem to be a bit deeper than other brands. Specifics, I fired these through my Remington 700 VTR, these bullets grouped around .8 inches, my tuned handloads usually come in about .4 inches at 100yds (using this brass with 40gr bullets). I plan to purchase more of this ammunition when my existing brass finally calls it quits.

I was testing out some new loads for my Ruger model 77 and had a box of these with me. So I ran the box thru my chronograph. With H380 & Hornaday 55 gr: SD was 18.9 (0.49%) – 3820 fps….. The Prvi 55 gr: SD was 267 (7.8%) – 3421 fps………….About 1 out of 4 would be several 100 fps less. Thus, OK for blinking, but don’t expect to wear out the 10 ring.

I have been using your V-Max varmint loads in 22-250 since you started making them. This Superformance blows the old loads away! 4000+ fps and way sub minute in a custom 22-250. The 223 and 204 Superformance load is fantastic also. Will you please manufacture this load SOON in 220 Swift. Not fair for your V-Max 220 Swift load to be slower than the 22-250.

I shot some of this in 6.5×55 match 120g hpt. I was very pleased. I ordered 10 more boxes. I purchased 10 boxes of the 22-250 55g sp and I am not really pleased. I will use it for out to 200 yds on larger varmints but I am sure not going to try beyond that on anything smaller. Somewhat inconsitent. A bit of spraying going on. Got to wondering? What the heck! So I figured I would weigh the rounds. wow. 6g dif overall. 14 – 15 rnds would be within 1g but the rest would be way off.(same with my new batch of 6.5) Shot groups today with bullets seperated into groups within 1g and got better results. The brass weighs less than Win. but more than Rem. And check the soft point. There is a lot of overlay going on. I shave it off flush. That has no effect on performance. Midway rocks!

relatively good price and I have had good results using other calibers with the PPU head stamp.

I shot this ammo through my Remington 700 at 550 yards. Could hit a 10″ plate almost every time. It was unbelievable. Only reason I give it 4 out of 5 is because I chronographed this ammo out of the same gun. Although the boxes were different the lot numbers were the same. The average velocity from one box was 4035 and the other box was 3963. It all averages back to 4000 but I was a little bummed to see that. Regardless, rounds within the same box were very close and again, the distance accuracy is superb.

as far as accurate is concern, not the greatest but really good brass last longer than winchester and better primer pockets than remington.; low power overall, the best for price can’t beat it!

This is the best ammo I have found to shoot in my Remington 700 26″ barrel. It will hold 1/2 MOA or better out to 500 yards while other ammo could not hold one MOA. Not only is this stuff fast and accurate but the V-max bullet is devastating on impact. I will definitely be shooting this ammo in my gun from now on. As always, Midway and Hornady have great pricing on an awesome product.
