Premium, 100% round, zinc-coated pellets fly straight, bringing them close to long-range pattern performance. And fully compatible with NITRO-STEEL® Aftermarket Ported and Wade-stripping chokes. What is a high-velocity shotgun shell?

When firing a high-velocity charge (which I think is 1300fps or faster), more shots are fired from the shotgun’s hull, causing more damage and distortion. The rear of the Remington Nitro-Steel High-Velocity BB gets hit by a soft load. Buy Kent Elite Steel Target 12 Ga 2 3/4″ 1 Oz Case 250 Rd online.

What is the fastest steel shot?

There’s fast, there’s fast, and then there’s Remington Hypersonic Fast. Traveling at an incredible speed of 1,700 feet per second, Remington’s hypersonic Remington nitro steel high-velocity magnum steel charge will add more splash to your spread. The extra rate translates to an 8-inch lead at 40 yards, which means you’ll be shooting more heads and fewer crosses.

These shells are the most reliable in my FN SLP shotgun. At first I thought that they would not have enough energy to cycle the action. I found that even with a 2.75 dram load the 1 and one eighth oz payload generated enough pressure for reliable cycling.Mild recoil and Very clean burning too.

  2. Michael (verified owner)

Nice recoil very accurate love shooting steel . I shoot a Mossberg 590 I would buy again impressive price

I buy and use these to shoot trap. I am new to trap shooting and doing this for only a few months. I use a Remington 1100, which I have found very picky on cycling shells and have been trying various brands to determine which work best with my particular shotgun. Some brands of shells do not cylce whatsoever (and yes I have a brand new o-ring and new gas piston of the old style and a new recoil spring that has seen 6 boxes of shells now.). These cycled pretty good in my shotgun. 21 out of 25 shells cycled fine and 4 short cycled (as opposed to no cycling with other brands. I would definately buy these again. They are a good value and appear to work well in my Autoloader.

The gold standard for reloading, and you can buy them by the case

  5. Max (verified owner)

Bought these slugs for multigun competition. They are accurate in my Benelli M2 and shoot to point of aim. Good value as well.

  6. Kai (verified owner)

Can\’t complain one bit. This ammo is packaged well, the little ammo can is nice as part of the deal. The recoil is soft and it\’s pretty darn accurate. I got this as the slugs to stock up on for my Mossberg 590A1 SBS. With the short 14\” barrel these shoot a little low at 25 yards but I\’ll take that over the recoil of a full power slug any day. Ammo shoots very clean as well.

  7. Owen (verified owner)

I use these in my Mossberg 590A1 and it feels like I could shoot them all day long. No jams or misfeeds. Haven\’t cleaned my barrel yet so can\’t speak to how dirty they are. Will defiantly be buying again.

  8. Dominic (verified owner)

Works great in my Benelli for 3-Gun. Doesn\’t beat me up and is more accurate than I am.

  9. Bryan (verified owner)

When shooting a shotgun match I prefer low velocity rounds. Just enough to hit/knock down target or for slugs to punch a hole in cardboard.

  10. Kai (verified owner)

I refitted my Remington 870 Express field gun for home defense and took it to the range today to get the new barrel sighted in. I was dreading having to shoot slugs from it, because of all the times I\’ve heard guys talk about how hard they kick, but the range doesn\’t allow buckshot. An RSO told me about \”low recoil\” shotgun slugs, so I found this product and bought 30 rounds. I shot all 30 rounds in one session, and started wishing I had bought more. These things are fun to shoot, not only because it\’s true they don\’t have much kick (though they still seem to be quite capable of mutilating their target), but also because they fly so consistently. Shooting from a rest, I got 5 or six of them to go through almost the exact same hole. I\’ll be buying more of these, and in larger quantities.

I just got back from the range and put a box of these through my H&R single shot shotgun. Great shooting with a much reduced recoil compared to any other slugs I\’ve tried. I\’m glad found these on sale at MidWay!

  12. Aadarsh (verified owner)

One of the best target rounds I\’ve used. Clean and reliable. What more could you ask for and at that price.

  13. John (verified owner)

Great slug, low recoil, accurate. No issues out to 100 yards out of my jm pro.

  14. Camden (verified owner)

So far all practice shots at 50 yards are easy to keep on my 8\” steel target using a cylinder bore barrel on a cheap single shot 12 Ga. with only a front bead sight. Seems to be plenty powerful for deer hunting.

  15. Dylan (verified owner)

I took the ammo to the range. Fired perfectly, no jams no miss fires. This ammo is fantastic for practice.
