This is the gold standard in my opinion for 223 ammo. It is very consistent in my rifle and by other reviews it works great for most people.

No worries about needing a second shot. 130 yards on 1 of the biggest groundhogs I have ever seen. I wasn’t sure if he was hit because he never moved at all. Until the familiar tail wiggle. This is the only round I buy for my Stag Arms AR 1 in 9 twist. Hope this helps..

As a Firearms retailer I get a lot of request for this ammo. My customers feel it performs exactly as and in many cases better than expected. They use it for both varmint and whitetail and hunting. I myself have used it on whitetail and hog and have been well pleased. I highly recommend this and many other Hornady Ammunition. However, remember that all firearms do not shoot different ammo as accurately as others. It is up to the individual and their likes and dislikes that determines their preferences on ammunition.

This is amazingly accurate, and produces devastating results on coyotes. I use nothing but this ammo when on the hunt for Wiley Coyote! Ground hogs will vaporize on contact!

Works very well on coyotes. Very consistent and accurate out of my 18\” Seekins barrel. Feeds well. No issues at all.

This ammo shoots sub MOA out of my 16\” AR15. Longest confirmed kill with this combo is 354 yards on a yote. Very accurate and very deadly. Will continue feeding my yote gun this ammo.

I think i got 3080 fps out of 18\” barrel. every 5 shot group was .8\” or better out of ar using 6* scope. using 1:7 or 1:8 twist. look forward to field testing.

Tried these in a 16\” 1:9 twist AR15. Tightest groups I have found with factory ammo.

Originally purchased these to compare to the accuracy of my handloads.

Far and away the most accurate round out of my Ruger AR556. I\’ve tried about a dozen different loads and this is a clear winner. Nothing else is even close. I haven\’t hunted with this (& don\’t really varmint hunt so I\’ll likely never get the chance) so I can\’t speak for its performance on game. But consistency and accuracy is sooo good I may try a couple Hornady loads in my deer rifle after using Barnes exclusively the last couple of years.

I shoot this in a Noveske AR, and it shoots great, consistent, no feed problems, and groups sub moa.
